10watches BV cares deeply about your privacy. Therefore, we only process data we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we collect about you and your use of our services with care. We never share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by 10watches BV. The effective date for these terms and conditions is April 3, 2024; the publication of a new version renders all previous versions invalid. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect it from misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you provide to us.

About data processing

Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it, what security techniques we use and who has access to the data.

Shopify

Our online store is developed using Shopify software. Personal data you provide to us for the purposes of our services will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose. Shopify is obligated to implement appropriate security measures under our agreement with them. These security measures include SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify is a certified credit card processor. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve its services. Shopify adheres to applicable legal retention periods for (personal) data. The EU/US Privacy Shield applies; your data may be processed in the United States.

Web hosting

We purchase web hosting and email services from Versio. Versio processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Versio has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Versio is obligated to maintain confidentiality under the confidentiality agreement.

Email and mailing lists

Shopify

We send our newsletters and transactional emails using our online store software, Shopify. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent through Shopify's servers. Shopify will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically through our website, you will see an "unsubscribe" link. If you click this, you will no longer receive emails from our website. This can seriously reduce the functionality of our website! Your personal data is sent, stored, and accessed securely by Shopify. Shopify uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. In addition, Shopify processes information about you as the recipient and the subject lines of emails to improve the quality of its services. This data is retained for 30 days. Shopify reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share information with third parties for this purpose.

Shopify reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in that context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. In the event of a request for a deferred payment (credit facility), Shopify shares personal data and information regarding your financial position with credit rating agencies. All the aforementioned safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Shopify's services for which it engages third parties. Shopify does not retain your data for longer than is permitted by law.

We collect reviews through the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review through WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide your name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us so we can link the review to your order. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide an explanation of your review. Shipping and logistics

PostNL

When you place an order with us, it's our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use PostNL's services to carry out deliveries. For this purpose, we must share your name, address, and city of residence with PostNL. PostNL uses this information solely for the purpose of fulfilling the agreement. If PostNL uses subcontractors, PostNL will also share your information with these parties.

DHL

When you place an order with us, it's our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use DHL to carry out deliveries. For this purpose, we must share your name, address, and city of residence with DHL. DHL uses this information solely for the purpose of fulfilling the agreement. If DHL uses subcontractors, DHL will also share your information with these parties.   

Invoicing and accounting

e-boekhouden.nl

We use the services of e-boekhouden.nl to manage our administration and accounting. We share your name, address, and city of residence, as well as details regarding your order. This information is used to manage sales invoices. Your personal data is sent and stored securely. e-boekhouden.nl is obligated to maintain confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. e-boekhouden.nl will not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

External sales channels

Bol.com

We sell (some of) our products through the Bol.com platform. If you place an order through this platform, Bol.com shares your order and personal information with us. We use this information to process your order. We treat your information confidentially and have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use.

Purpose of data processing

General purpose of the processing

We use your data solely for the purposes of providing our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the order you place. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later date—other than at your request—we will ask for your explicit consent. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound by confidentiality based on the agreement between them and us, an oath, or a legal obligation.

Automatically collected data

Data automatically collected by our website is processed to further improve our services. This data (e.g., your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.

In certain cases, 10watches BV may be legally obligated to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations by government authorities. In such a case, we are forced to share your data, but we will object to this within the limits of the law.

Retention periods

We retain your data for as long as you are our client. This means we keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also consider it as a request to be forgotten. This also means we will not retain your data for longer than two years from the last contact or transaction, unless there is a legal justification for doing so. Due to applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices containing your (personal) data, so we will retain this data for the duration of the applicable term. However, employees will no longer have access to your client profile and documents we have created as a result of your assignment.

Apple Watch

There are currently 7 different sizes of the Apple Watch available. (38mm - 40mm - 41mm -42mm - 44mm - 45mm - 49mm)

On the back of the Apple Watch you will find the number of mm of your Apple Watch in small format.

When choosing the right size for your desired strap, you can choose from 2 different sizes. Namely: 45/44/42mm or 41/40/38mm

Make sure that the number of mm on the back of your Apple Watch corresponds to 1 of the sizes.

For example, if you have a 44mm watch, choose the 45/44/42mm option.

Do you have an Apple Watch Ultra (49mm)? Then choose the 45/44/42mm option.

For our cases, make sure that the number of mm matches the number of mm of your Apple Watch.

Sure! We can easily exchange the wrong strap/case for the desired size. Send an email to info@10watches.nl and we will arrange it for you immediately.

How annoying to hear that you are not satisfied with your order. We can also exchange it for a different size/color. You can report your order within 30 days after cancellation. After this you also have 14 days to return your product. You will then receive the full order amount refunded via your chosen payment method.
